Yukon Youth Survey Report
In the spring of 2008, YHRC did a survey of Yukon youth about their views and knowledge of human rights. There were a total of 142 who responded, between the ages of 13 to 25 from youth in Whitehorse, Destruction Bay, Haines Junction, Mayo, Ross River, Watson Lake and Stewart Crossing. CURRICULUM RESOURCE FOR YUKON TEACHERS — "Exploring Issues of Racial Discrimination"
In celebration of March 21, the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, YHRC has developed a curriculum resource for Yukon teachers called "Exploring Issues of Racial Discrimination". This resource is designed to be used with the video clip Public Service Announcement on "Learned Behaviour: Racism vs Accepting People". A copy of this PSA announcement can be viewed on our website.

Launch of Public Service Announcements
The NWT Human Rights Commission and the Yukon Human Rights Commission have partnered in developing some public service announcements for radio and TV. Following are the 30 second clips that can be viewed, and used in workplace and school settings to generate discussion about human rights issues.
